"Partnering with K-12 schools to co-create optimal learning environments by developing school cultures of emotional safety where everyone's needs are equally valued."
After four years of successfully providing our “Empathy 101” communication training to businesses, families, health providers, students, couples, teachers, prison inmates and the general public, Third Ear Project is now focused on helping schools create optimal learning environments through social and emotional intelligence.
By developing a culture of emotional safety where power is shared and everyone’s needs are equally valued, schools can prevent bullying, raise test scores and improve their overall environment. Common sense will tell you – and decades of research overwhelmingly confirms – that this is an approach and a practice that schools and any complete education can no longer overlook - an idea whose time has come!
With
bullying almost a national epidemic and a new urgency to raise test scores, transforming schools has become a very high cultural priority. We are excited about our recent successes in local classrooms and want to bring this work to every school district on the Olympic Peninsula.
With the “No-Fault Classroom” curriculum, the approaches and practices of Intentional Communication, and our extensive experience in diverse settings,
Third Ear Project is uniquely positioned to lead the way locally in this desperately needed revolution in education. Please visit our ever-evolving website often as we strive to keep up with – and keep you informed of – this cutting-edge phenomenon.
